Felonies Before Birth is narrated by the author Randall Cole.
Felonies Before Birth is an account of one man's life journey that takes a spiritual turn. The book covers a timespan from 1954 to 2005 and offers a compelling story of the street life and struggles of a young black boy growing up in the zones of California. It walks you through several near death experiences by the age of 10. The author then takes you through his young pre-teen & young adult years with events involving shootings, drug dealing, robbery, the pimp life on the streets of Oakland, California. The book also takes the reader by the hand and leads them through the California prison system and the spiritual transformation that took place in this mans life. Having 4 strikes before the 3 strike law went into effect, the author was driven to the life of a drug dealer once again. This time he finds himself in a rural county with very few blacks up against a corrupt law system. He is set up in the streets and then told "now you will never get out" with his back against the wall, he cries out to God and his prayers are heard and God comes to his rescue. He was able to overcome the 4 strikes before the 3 strike design and now he is free and a soldier for God.
