Alkaline diet is based on the theory that anything you eat can either result in your body building up acid or becoming more alkaline. For a healthy body, the alkaline and acid ratio must be balanced, measured by the level of pH in the body.
The pH ranges between zero and 14. A pH level of seven is considered to be neutral. The higher the quantity of alkaline foods we put into our system, the greater the body's acidic condition neutralization.
